A downloadable game for Windows

Short game I made in 3 days where you have to collect stuff before the fog consumes you.

-My first game made for Brackeys 2024.2 game jam

-This is a short demo and the game is by no means fully complete due to lack of time.

-Had no time to add context/backstory in game :( so here it is:

Far off the east coast of the United States, within the Locus of Atlantic sea, lay an isolated island. Upon its rugged ancient hide lived an equally ancient whaler. You still remember Brughal—the pale whale, weathered by countless years, and its blind, unseeing eye. Decades after his death, Brughal still haunts you. His ghost lingers in the sea, in the light tower where you spend your days, and in your forever unclean hands Brughal watches you. Brughal—the ancient white whale—returns to haunt you once more.

In "the fog" , you play as a retired whaler who now spends his days maintaining a solitary lighthouse, never to see civilized land again. In this short demo, you wake up in your shed to find that the generator you remember refilling earlier has mysteriously run dry and turned off. After refilling it, you receive an automated message triggered by worsening weather, instructing you to barricade yourself inside in case the storm intensifies. As the mist settles, you catch a glimpse of him—through the gaps in the wooden walls, you see his pale eyes once more. Brughal…

Controls:

-WASD: Move

-Space: Jump

-Left Mouse Button: Interact with objects

-Note: Sprinting is not an option; your old legs can no longer handle it.

-Thank you for playing the demo. I greatly appreciate your time and hope you enjoyed this brief experience. Stay tuned for more in the future, and good luck in this year’s game jam!

-Credits to my friend for helping me make assets :)
